About Tabatha

Tabatha grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia, started writing books in Georgia, and lives in Maryland with her husband Ben and their canine companions. Tabatha and Ben are the parents of three young adults.  

In addition to authoring and editing books for young people, Tabatha has written dozens of articles for magazines and newspapers. Her work has been in publications ranging from Cricket to Logic Puzzles to The Christian Science Monitor.

Tabatha loves spending time in nature (and filling her home with plants). She also loves the arts. She has volunteered hundreds of hours supporting arts programs in schools. On her blog, Tabatha shares poetry, visual art, and music.
